Led by company director Maggie Clarke, XTRAX is one of the leading outdoor arts organisations in the UK. XTRAX is passionate about outdoor arts and is recognised as the foremost authority on the international street arts sector.
The relationship between Wired Aerial Theatre and XTRAX began in 2010 and has led to the development of many exciting projects, including the internationally successful large-scale show As The World Tipped. In 2014, XTRAX helped Wired to raise funds from the Business Enterprise Grant scheme Step Clever and Arts Council England to improve The Higher Space.
As the producer for Wired Aerial Theatre, XTRAX works with the team to create pioneering indoor and outdoor shows which inspire and capture the imagination of audiences everywhere. As Tour Manager, XTRAX uses its extensive network of contacts to support Wired to take this work to festivals and events across the world.
Alongside its work with Wired, XTRAX runs a range of projects and events designed to support and promote new and innovative outdoor work from UK and international artists. XTRAX has run many showcases to promote UK artists to an international audience and offers year-round advice and support to those creating ambitious new outdoor shows.
