To Me, To You… is a beautifully honest and sensitive aerial piece by Wired Aerial Theatre, working with Liam Steel. Originally commissioned by Without Walls and Brighton Festival with support from Culture Liverpool to rework the show for 2018, this show displays a mesmeric rotating set, encased in roses and awash with delicate and dynamic aerial choreography.
Performed on the ground and in the air, where delicate and expressive movements guide the audience through the twists and turns and highs and lows of the modern age, Wired invite you in, to share just another day in the life of this quite ordinary pair.
To Me, To You... was performed at Arts By The Sea with it's most recent re-development being set in the 1920s-1940s era, giving the viewers a nostalgic feel whilst allowing them to let go of the present.
"It was the most beautiful thing that I had ever seen, it was so expressive, that the movement and the way they told the story... it just made me want to cry because it was just so moving."
"It was so sensitive, the performance was just spellbounding"
"When they were arguing and in the harness and just showing the balance... it was a beautiful dynamic."
