LEAP Festival Artist Callout

23 January 2017

Wired Aerial Theatre and MDI are looking for artists wanting to research and discover within the LEAP Dance Festival as part of its Professional Development Programme. This workshop programme offers you the opportunity to participate in:

  • Research Workshop – Research new ideas through workshop and discussion
  • Scratch Event – Present work–in-construction for feedback

The floor is open to you... whether you want to lead an open Research Workshop, be part of scratch performance or pose a question for discussion - we want to support your questions, ideas and research. The festival theme is CAMOUFLAGE: SEEN AND UNSEEN; please consider your work within this context during application.

This programme will be held at The Higher Space, meaning there is also the opportunity to include bungee-assisted or flying work into these workshops. This can be discussed further with Wendy Hesketh-Ogilvie, Wired's Artistic Director, via our contact form.

An application form for the Professional Development Programme is available to download here:
