As a separate service we offer technical and artistic consultancy and are able to supply performers and riggers for other shows and performances.

Truss structures for hire

Wired Aerial Theatre is proud to own two ground support truss systems ideal for small scale corporate events or large outdoor productions.

Both structures can be either dry hired or come with qualified and experienced climbers, transport and all technical documentation to assist with the installation.

With a large variety of lengths both structures can be built to form many different shapes and formations and can also be erected on hard standing or soft ground.

Light-beam Structure

The first truss is a reinforced light beam system with taper fitting pin and clip connection. The truss is light weight and very strong.

This structure is ideal for light rigs, drapes, sets or small corporate aerial performances.

Sections: (2m = 3) – (1.5m = 11) – (1m = 4) – (0.5m = 4) – (corners = 4) – (feet = 2)

Installation time: 1-2 hrs

Load information: Maximum centre load over a 10m span = 240kg Max height and width: 10m x 10m

Medium Duty Structure

The second truss is a medium duty box truss with M16 HT bolt connection.   

This particular truss combines a large load capacity with compactness that makes it ideal for most general applications involving spans up to 18m.

This truss is ideal for large aerial productions, small concerts and big productions.

Sections: (2.4m = 12) – (1.2m = 7) – (corners = 2) – (feet = 2) Installation time: 4-6 hrs

Load information: Maximum centre point load over 10m span = 787kg Max height and width: 10m x 10m
