O2 Performance

Described as ‘Wired Aerial Theatre, a young and exciting UK based company who are one of the country’s most hotly tipped and talked about ensembles’ by Greenwich and Docklands International Festival Director, Bradley Hemmings our mission was to create a “must see” destination aerial spectacle, specifically for the opening of the O2, making maximum use of the height of the building and using the gantry as its principle rigging point to provide stunning views of the exterior of the central Arena with heart-stopping bungee choreography sweeping over the heads of audiences.

And what a mission it was, a fabulous whirlwind of swoops, swings, drops and suspensions at 23 metres in the air! And what an event to be part of! This really does go down in history doesn’t it?

From light installations in our costumes, to rolling platforms and chanting ghostlike singers, this was a performance to remember!

Our thanks goes out to all those who helped to make this possible, not least to Bradley for asking us and giving us the opportunity. To Martin Green for providing support and all the other friends and colleagues who were there for us every step of the way.
